While working on this website we decided do divide it into four sections relevant to areas of my musical activity: classical music, film music, theatre music, popular music, and music for commercials. In each section you may find detailed information, listen to music, download information files, mp3 files and photos. You are welcome to listen!

Maciej Zieliński (1971) graduated from composition faculty of the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw and the Royal Academy of Music in London. He has composed film scores (Tylko mnie kochaj, Kryminalni, Nigdy w życiu, Świąteczna przygoda, Niemcy, Gry uliczne), theatre music (Zatrute pióro, Warszawianka...), songs and music for TV productions (Sesame street, Plaster miodu, Co z tą Polską?). He is the author of music to a few hundred TV commercials (e.g. song in a Jacobs Coffee commercial "Najmilsza chwila poranka" - Tytan '93 award, Procter&Gamble "Warmer" - Kreatura '2000 award for best music). His song, "Kto wie?" ("Who knows?") sung by De Su was at the top of the charts for two years, thus becoming the most frequently broadcasted Christmas songs in Poland.

Another important area of Maciej Zieliński's creative activity is classical music. His compositions have been performed at many festivals in Poland and abroad (Germany, Italy, Denmark, Romania, England, the USA). He has won numerous prizes and awards at many composers' competitions, including international ones (Germany, the Czech Republic). His composition Lutosławski in memoriam was chosen by Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music as part of exam programme and will remain on the schedule till 2006. Recently a CD with his 1st String Quartet performed by a female quartet DAFO won Fryderyk 2002 - the Polish Music Industry Award.
